Description

If the passwdexpired() routine is invoked by a 64bit application the
API may return that a local users password is expired when it really
is not.


Prerequisites
-------------
This fix applies to AIX 5.3 with the 5300-02 Recommended Maintenance
package with the following filesets at the specified levels.

bos.rte.libc		5.3.0.20 or 5.3.0.21
bos.rte.security	5.3.0.20 or 5.3.0.21


Installation
------------
Download IY67947ML2.epkg.Z in BINARY format.

Use the following command to install the fix.

  emgr -e IY67947ML2.epkg.Z
