- Select a category from the Category list.
- Select a value from the Value list.
- Repeat the previous steps to create an expression.

- Select Computed function from the Category list.
- Select a function from the Value list.
- Specify the arguments for the function by first clicking on an item from the Value list and then clicking on the appropriate Arg button.
- Repeat the previous steps to create a computed field function.
To create a new constant, select Constants, double-click on <constant> from the Value list.
To create new arguments, click on the ... button next to the last Arg
button.

- Click the AND push button to add the default clause to the Workarea container.
- Select Field Names in the Category list.
- Select a field name from the Value list and click the Arg1 push button.
- Optional: Click an operator push button to change the default operator.
- Select Constants in the Constants list.
- Double-click on <new constant> in the Value list.
- Type a value in the displayed entry field, press Enter, and click the Arg2 push button.
- Optional: Click the AND or the OR push button and repeat the previous steps
to use several clauses as filter records condition.
- Click the OK push button to add the expression to the Filter records condition field on the previous page.
