synchronizing the file %1Work with a Sample Project
If you want to work with this sample project, you
first need to copy the sample files to a directory you have write access to. Create
a directory with write access, then copy the contents of the following directories to
that directory and corresponding subdirectories:
%1%2
You can then load the sample project by doing the following:
- Start the VisualAge C++ IDE
- Open the %3 project configuration file, which is located in
first directory you copied to above.
The file %2 could not be synchronized because the frameset file
%1 referenced by the file's topic was not in the correct format.Search Results vahcfg install [parameters]
Installs help for a product.
All options below can be specified by their first letter only.
Parameters:
/wdir writeable-directory (required)
Contains help zip files (other than zips found in /rdir if specified),
and will contain help system generated files.
/nls
Use locale subdirectories of the writeable and readonly directories.
/lang LANG
Restricts generation to the specified language (if /nls specified).
/rdir readable-directory
A second zip file directory (or the parent if /nls is specified).
/prod ShortName
One-word name, if overriding help defaults. For multiple instances.
/sprefix 4LPX
A four-letter prefix to override the index name prefix specified
in help components. Required on multiple installs.
/quiet
Prevents the display of messages (for use by install scripts)
/multiple
This is a second instance install (not supported on AIX).
vahcfg regen parameters
Regenerates help for a product. You must specify either the product
name or the readonly and writable directories.
All options other than /nonls can be specified by their first letter
Required parameters: At least one of /wdir or /prod:
/wdir writeable-directory
Contains help zip files (other than zips found in /rdir if specified),
and will contain help system generated files. If not specified, the
existing writable directory for the product help is used.
/prod product
The product name as known by the help system. A one-word identifier.
Optional parameters:
/rdir readable-directory
A second zip file directory (or the parent if /nls is specified).
To remove an existing readable-directory entry, use " /rdir none ".
/quiet
Prevents the display of messages (for use by install scripts)
/nls
Use locale subdirectories of the writeable and readonly directories.
/lang LANG
Restricts generation to the specified language (if /nls specified).
/nonls
Forces regeneration to look in the specified directories and not in
NLS-specific subdirectories. Use when /nls was supplied on install
and you want to regenerate from the parent.
/i
Preserves the component index files and directories from the help
writable directories. By default these files and directories are
deleted.
vahcfg remove /prod name [/quiet] [/i]
Removes the help system entries and generated files for the product.
/prod name
The product name as known by the help system. A one-word identifier.
/i
Preserves the component index files and directories from the help
writable directories. By default these files and directories are
deleted.
/quiet
Prevents the display of messages (for use by install scripts)
vahcfg addprod /prod product
Creates a product entry in the help system configuration file.
Supported on AIX only.
/prod product
The product name as it will be known by the help system. One word.
Addprod assumes an NLS-enabled environment so no writable or readonly
paths need be specified. If they are specified they are ignored.
vahcfg addlang /prod product /lang language /wdir dir1 [/rdir dir2]
Creates a language entry in the help system configuration file.
Supported on AIX only.
/prod product
The product previously added with addprod command.
/lang language
The language being installed (e.g. en_US)
/wdir writable-directory
A writable directory the help system will use to store files it
generates for the product help for this language. May also contain
the zip files for that language
/rdir readable-directory
A directory the help system will search for zip files to include
in the help for this language. If the same zip is found in both the
readonly and writable directories, the one in the writable directory
is used.
vahcfg addcomp /prod PRD /lang LNG /comp CMP [/rdir readonlypath]
Adds a component to the specified language and product. Supported on AIX
only. vahcfg looks for CMP.zip in the writable or readonly path, makes
sure that it contains the required files for a component, and if so,
builds and merges the navigation and handles updates.
/prod product
The product previously added with addprod command.
/lang language
The language this component belongs to. Must already have been
added with addlang command.
/rdir readable-directory
The directory to search for the component zip file. If not specified,
the writable and readonly paths specified for the language are used.
vahcfg list [options]
Lists help system entries for products, languages, components, or
combinations thereof.
/prod product
The product name as known by the help system. A one-word identifier.
/lang language
The language as known by the help system. Corresponds to a directory.
/comp component
The component name as known by the help system. A one-word identifier.
You can specify any combination of /prod, /lang, and /comp, including
none of them. If an option is not specified, all values for that option
(ie. all products, or all components, or all languages) are listed.
To limit the list to products or languages only, specify /lang NONE or
/comp NONE respectively.
vahcfg hash [/prod] name
Returns and prints the help system hash value for name. For ensuring
hash value uniqueness among product and component names.
vahcfg renindex oldname newname path
Renames the index specified by oldname to newname. Scans all files
in the PATH directory for occurrences of OLDNAME and changes them to
NEWNAME. If the path contains oldname, it gets renamed to contain
newname.
vahcfg addsamp /r Sample-directory
Sets the root of the product samples directory to Sample-directory.
