To verify which version is installed, run
     |lslpp -l Netscape.communicator.com|

Note:
AIX Communicator versions older than 4.76i do not run on AIX 5.1.
AIX Communicator versions older than 4.7.9.1 do not run on AIX 5.2.

Note: If you plan to upgrade your AIX system, please ensure that you
have the latest Netscape Communicator install image BEFORE upgrading
your AIX system. Once your AIX system is upgraded, the old version might
not run any more and you may not be able to download the new install image.

Due to the 128-bit encryption in Netscape Communicator V4, there is no
site available that can be reached via command line ftp.

If you have an earlier version of the AIX Bonus/Expansion Pack and you
do not have Web access, you may request a current Bonus/Expansion Pack
by contacting your IBM Representative, IBM Business Partner, by calling
1-800-879-2755 (then, take option 2, and again option 2), or by shopping
the IBM online store. An additional media charge for Expansion Pack
updates may be required in some countries.


        Fixes for Netscape Communicator V4 for AIX

If you are running the browser version recommended for you AIX version,
you do not need any updates.
