Lesson 1: Import and set up the model

In this lesson, you import a sample Unified Modeling Language (UML) model that you publish as a Rational Asset Manager asset in later lessons.

To import the UML model:

Go to the Simple UML model sample model.
On the Simple UML model sample page, click the Import the sample link.
In the wizard, type ramMod for the project name and click Finish.
If the Open Associated Perspective window opens, click Yes.
In the Project Explorer view, expand the ramMod project and expand the Models section. You should see the model named SimpleUMLModel. This entry is the model.
To display the model, right-click SimpleUMLModel; then click Open.

You imported the sample UML model, which is now ready to publish.
