You can create custom reports
to see how frequently problematic pages are being accessed.
About this task
Assume that, in a schedule run, certain pages are causing
bottlenecks as indicated by very long page response times. You can
create a custom report to see how frequently the problematic pages
are being accessed.
Procedure
To create a report that shows the page attempts:
- From the Test Navigator view, double-click
a run to open the report.
- Click New Custom Report.
- In the Report name field, type Frequency
of Page Attempts during Run and click OK.
- Click the Add a new tab to the report
icon.
- In the Tab Name field, type Page
attempt frequency and click OK.
- In the newly created tab, click

- Click the Line chart button and
click OK.
- Click the Modify Graphic Contents icon

- In Graphic Title, type Graph
of Page Attempt Frequency.
- For Horizontal Axis Label, type Time
[s] since start. The default time, ms, is multiplied
by .001 to create seconds.
- Select the counters to include in the report:
- Click Add/Remove, and in the Add/Remove
Performance Counters, click and select the Rate
[per second][for Run] checkbox. Click OK.
- Click OK to close the Modify
Graphic Contents dialog box and see the graph. You
can click Save to save the report.
What to do next
You can manage and edit this report just as you do the default
reports.
