You can add reviewers to a lifecycle state to get feedback
from asset stakeholders or to ensure that an asset is approved to
move into the next state.
This lesson applies to an asset lifecycle, however, you can
add reviewers to any lifecycle state that you have permission to edit.
Important: You add user groups as reviewers in community and
asset lifecycles, but you cannot add user groups as reviewers in master
lifecycles.
- From the General Details page for the Presentation
asset you created, click Review.
- Click Edit Lifecycle Configuration.
- Select the Review state and click Go.
- Click Add Reviewers.
- Click the magnifying glass and select Users. If you have user groups created for your community, you can
also add those groups as reviewers.
- Enter user and
click Search.
- Select user1,
press the CTRL key, and select user2.
- Click Add.
- For user1, select the Allow Editing check
box to allow the user to modify the asset while it is in this state,
and then select the Approver check box to require
this user to approve or reject the asset by casting a vote. When
the Approver check box is selected for a user group, each individual
user within that user group is given a vote on the asset.
- For user2, clear the Allow Editing check
box to prevent the user from modifying the asset while it is in this
state, and then clear the Approver check box.
This user is not able to cast a vote on this asset review.
- Click Save.
User1 has been added as an approver and User2 has been added
as a reviewer. User1 has also been given permission to edit the Review
state of the lifecycle.
