Before you can delete a master lifecycle, you must move
the community lifecycles to another master lifecycle with the same
workflow.
Before you begin
You must be a repository administrator to delete master lifecycles.
About this task
To change the master lifecycle of a community lifecycle that
uses the same workflow, see
Changing the master lifecycle for a community lifecycle.
Procedure
- Log on to the web client.
- Click Administration.
- Click Master Lifecycles.
- Hover your cursor over the row for a master lifecycle and
click the Delete icon
.
- Review the communities that use this lifecycle by clicking Show
Communities. If the Show Communities link is
not on the page, no communities are using this master lifecycle.
- If other master lifecycles are using the same workflow
as the lifecycle that you are deleting, select one of those lifecycles
to move the communities to. If no lifecycles are using the same workflow
as the lifecycle that you are deleting, create one by completing these
steps:
- Click Back.
- Create a lifecycle that uses the same workflow as the
master lifecycle that you want to delete. For more information, see Creating master lifecycles.
- Click Save and Finish.
- From the Lifecycles page, hover your cursor over the
row for the master lifecycle to delete and click the Delete icon
.
- Select the master lifecycle that you created.
- Click OK.
