To create a .zip file of a library that you
can import to another Rational® Asset
Manager repository, export a library.
Before you begin
To work with repository libraries,
you must be a repository administrator.
Procedure
To export a library on the Rational Asset Manager repository:
- Log on to the Rational Asset Manager web client as a repository
administrator.
- Click Administration.
- In the Repository Administration sidebar,
click Libraries. The Libraries page
opens. By default, all libraries on the repository are shown. To see
only enabled libraries, click View Enabled.
- To open the library to export, click the version number
of the library.
- In the Library Actions sidebar, click Export. You will be prompted to download a .zip file that contains
the assets and metadata for that library.
Note: You can use the library
export feature to export up to 1000 assets at a time.
- Download the .zip file to a convenient location.
What to do next
You can
import and enable the library on another
Rational Asset Manager repository. You do not have to extract
the .zip file; Rational Asset
Manager can import the .zip file directly.
