Repository administrators
manage and configure the repository
for use. Repository administrators have authority to perform any activity
with the Rational® Asset Manager web application.
You can assign any number of users repository administrator permissions.
Before you begin
To assign other
repository administrators, you must be
a repository administrator.
About this task
Note that repository
administrators are not the same as
community administrators. A community administrator can only administer
a community.
Procedure
- Log in to the Rational Asset
Manager web
application.
- Click Administration.
- Click Repository Administrators from
the sidebar.
- Click Add Administrator to
search
for a user that you want to add as a repository administrator.
- In the Add a Repository Administrator window, type
the
name of a specific user and click Search. You can search for users within either the external registry
or the list users that are registered with Rational Asset
Manager, depending on whether an external registry is configured.
- Select the check boxes next to the users you want
to assign
as repository administrators, click Add.
