Using the discussion forums with Rational ClearQuest

You can bind IBM® Rational® Asset Manager forums with IBM Rational ClearQuest® records.

Before you begin

You can map discussion forums individually to Rational ClearQuest records. Each asset discussion forum can be mapped to a different Rational ClearQuest record type. When you create a new topic in that forum a Rational ClearQuest record of the type bound to the discussion is opened. Additional posts that are created in the forum will be captured in the Rational ClearQuest record. The state of the record will be synchronized once a day by a scheduled job or by refreshing a specific topic.
