Lesson 3.1: Adding simple conditions to a master lifecycle

You can add basic conditions that apply to all of the assets submitted with asset types or categorizations.
You must have repository administrator privileges to add conditions to a master lifecycle, however, you can add similar conditions to any lifecycle you have permission to edit.
  1. In the master lifecycle general settings, click Add Condition.
  2. Click the dropdown.
  3. Select Categorization. The available category schemas load.
  4. Select Is.
  5. Expand Software Development > Organization > IBM > Software Group.
  6. Select Rational.
  7. Click Add.
  8. In the dropdown, select And.
  9. Click the Add icon Add.
  10. Select Categorization. The available category schemas load.
  11. Select Is.
  12. Expand Software Development > Documentation > Content.
  13. Select Sales and Marketing.
  14. Click Add.
  15. Click Save.
Now this master lifecycle applies a standard workflow to all of the assets in all of the communities that use the Rational and Sales and Marketing categorizations.
