Exporting EGL code to a stand-alone EGLAR file

To export a project to an EGLAR file on a workstation directory, do as follows:
  1. Click File > Export. The Export window opens.
  2. Under Choose an export destination, expand EGL and click EGLAR file.
  3. Click Next. The EGLAR File Specification page is displayed.
  4. Select the check boxes for the projects you want to export.
  5. Select check boxes to indicate whether to allow the export of projects with errors, warnings, or both.
  6. For the text box below Select the export destination, specify the directory.
  7. If you want to specify a vendor name or version number, click Next. The EGLAR Packaging Options page is displayed. Specify the details.
  8. Click Finished.
  9. If your project includes stand-alone functions, a message is displayed to ask whether to include the source for those functions. The default is Yes, which means that the source files will be available to anyone who accesses the EGLAR file. However, if you click No, neither the source nor the related IR files are included.

The process of importing an EGLAR file is the same as for importing any non-archive file in the file system. For details, see “Importing projects and files.”
