The vgVar.currentShortGregorianDate system variable contains the current system date in six-digit Gregorian format (yyMMdd). EGL maintains this variable for compatibility with earlier versions. New code should use strLib.formatDate().
The value is numeric, contains no separator characters, and is updated automatically each time your program references it.
You cannot use vgVar.currentShortGregorianDate as the target of an assignment or move statement.
