The
indexOrientation property specifies
how the program displays the elements of an array. EGL uses the indexOrientationKind
enumeration for values for this property. The following values are
available:
- across
- Elements are numbered from top to bottom, then left to right,
so that the elements in a given column are numbered sequentially.
This is the default.
- down
- Elements are numbered from left to right, then top to bottom,
so that the elements in a given row are numbered sequentially.
The following 2-column example shows the display that results with
the
spacesBetweenColumns property set to
3 and the
indexOrientation property set
to
across:

3 4
5
This property is meaningful only for arrays. The default value
for this property is across. You cannot update the property at run
time.
