Follow these steps to edit the transformation parameters file:
The transformation parameters file opens in the editor. The left side of this editor is a table that matches the elements in the UML file with the transformations applied to those elements. The rows of the table are the elements in the UML model, which you can expand and contract with the + and - buttons.
The columns in the table represent the transformations applied to the UML model. A check mark symbol in a transformation's column indicates that the transformation will be applied to the associated UML element.
Depending on the type of transformation, you may want to apply the transformation to the root element of the UML model or to any of its child elements. When you apply a transformation to a parent element, the editor does not automatically apply that transformation to the child elements.
If you do not see the transformation you want to apply to the UML element, that transformation may not be enabled in the editor. See Selecting the available transformations.
Because the transformation parameters apply to a particular UML element and a particular transformation, make sure you have clicked the correct check mark symbol. The parameters available to be set are different for each transformation and for each type of UML element.
When you have clicked a check mark symbol, the parameters for the selected transformation and for the selected UML element appear in the right side of the transformation parameters editor. Not all combinations of UML elements and transformations have parameters.
When you enter the parameters for a transformation, you must be careful to enter values that are valid in the source code format, especially for names.
