The following properties are available with any Library stereotype:
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| alias | Specifies a string (enclosed in quotation marks) that EGL incorporates into the names of generated output. If you do not specify an alias, the library name is used instead. |
| allowUnqualifiedItemReferences | Specifies whether to allow your code to omit container and substructure qualifiers when referencing fields in structured records. |
| enableSaveRestore | Saves the library across a segmented converse. |
| handleHardIOErrors | Determines whether a library continues to run after a hard error on an I/O operation in a try block. |
| i4glItemsNullable | Determines whether a library emulates the behavior of I4GL in creating variables as nullable by default. |
| includeReferencedFunctions | Determines whether a library includes all of the standalone functions for the package. |
| localSQLScope | Determines whether identifiers for SQL result sets and prepared statements are local to the current library. |
| msgTablePrefix | Identifies the first part of the name of a DataTable that EGL uses as the message table for the library. |
| textLiteralDefaultIsString | Tells EGL how to deal with text literals. If NO, literals without specific type designation receive a type based on the characters in the literal. This promotes compatibility with programs migrated from VisualAge® Generator. |
| throwNrfEofExceptions | Determines whether a soft error causes an exception to be thrown. |
| v60ExceptionCompatibility | Determines whether EGL uses an older form of exception handling. |
