The selectedValueItem property identifies a variable that holds the value(s) for one or more selected rows from a screen display.
The value you assign to the property is an array of values of the same type as the values in the display.
If you specify this property when declaring an array, the user is allowed to select multiple values. If you specify this property when declaring a primitive field, the user can select only one value.
To save the indices of the selected rows rather than the values, use the selectedRowItem property (see selectedRowItem).
mailAddresses STRING[3] {"jose@jose.com", "dina@dina.com", "amir@amir.com",
selectedValueItem = selectedAddresses };
selectedAddresses STRING[3];
If the user selects the check box for the second address, selectedAddresses[1] will contain the string "dina@dina.com".
