The vgVar.currentShortJulianDate system variable contains the current system date in five-digit Julian format (yyDDD). EGL maintains this variable for compatibility with earlier versions. New code can use strLib.formatDate().
The value is numeric, contains no separator characters, and is automatically updated each time it is referenced by your program.
You cannot use vgVar.currentShortGregorianDate as the target of an assignment or move statement.
