The dliVar.cicsRestart system
variable tells you whether the DL/I program was restarted in a CICS® environment.
The
dliVar.cicsRestart variable can have
the following values:
- 1
- The CICS DL/I program was
restarted following an abnormal end that was caused by a deadlock
when queueing database records.
- 0
- The program was not restarted.
dliVar.cicsRestart is read-only, cannot
be set by your program logic, and is not restored after a segmented
converse.
For IMS/VS, IMS™ BMP, and z/OS® batch, dliVar.cicsRestart is
always set to 0.
