Generating with an Ant script

You might create an Ant script that cleans a workspace and causes an automatic build and generation. To help you save processing time, the product provides a Java™ VM argument to include in the Ant script.
An example Ant script is available. However, no support is provided for that script, which is only an example. Here are the details:

The provided argument is named egl.build.gen.debug, and you use it to specify whether the generated output can include debugging information. The default for the argument value is true, but you might set the value to false if you want to save time. You can set that argument either in the eclipse.ini file or in the Ant statement that invokes the product.

Do not set the egl.build.gen.debug property to false for a session when you also intend to use the workspace for development. The reason is as follows: Debugging information is sometimes used in the interactive development environment, even in the absence of a debug build descriptor. For example, the Rich UI design and preview modes automatically use a generated output that includes debugging information.
