This field specifies which numbers are used for sequence numbers.
Initially this field contains the value *CMDDFT. To indicate which
numbers are used, click on the down arrow to select one of the following valid
choices:
- *CMDDFT
- No parameter will be passed to the host and the host defined default will
be used.
- User-supplied number
- Indicates that the user-supplied sequence numbers (columns 1 through 6)
are used for reference numbers. (*NUMBER is the equivalent value on the
OPTION parameter of the CRTCBLPGM, CRTCBLMOD, and CRTBNDCBL commands.)
- Compiler-created number
- Indicates that the sequence numbers created by the compiler are used for
reference numbers. (*LINENUMBER is the equivalent value on the OPTION
parameter of the CRTCBLPGM, CRTCBLMOD, and CRTBNDCBL commands.) This
option combines COBOL/400 main file source code and COPY member source code
into one consecutively numbered sequence. Use this only if you specify
FIPS flagging or SAA flagging (SAA flagging applies to OPM COBOL/400
only.)
- Source file sequence number
- Indicates that the source-file sequence numbers are used for reference
numbers. (*NONUMBER is the equivalent value on the OPTION parameter of
the CRTCBLPGM, CRTCBLMOD, and CRTBNDCBL commands.)
