Using a local project will allow you to work disconnected,
and push your changes once you connect again. There are some settings
you will want to set up to work this way.
To work disconnected, you will want to use these settings:
- When creating a project, ensure Push on build and Push
on save are turned off.
To change these settings
for projects already created, right-click the project in the Project
Explorer view, select Properties. Select Remote Location.
You can change the defaults for these options when
creating new C/C++ projects in Window > Preferences, then
selecting Remote Systems > Remote Reconciler > C/C++ New Project Defaults.
- Turn off Build Automatically.
