Automatic Checkpoint Files:
An checkpoint file for your work is automatically generated at regular time intervals or if more than a specified number of changes occur. To change the frequency of the automatic saves, select Settings from the Tools pull-down. Your work is saved in a file with an extension of .ASV in your CODE temporary directory. In the event of a system failure, this file will be used by the CODE Designer feature to recover your work up to the last automatic save. If you exit the CODE Designer feature normally, this file is deleted.
When you next start the CODE Designer feature, if you specify a file or member name which has an autosave file, you will have the option to recover your previous session.
