In the Remote System Explorer, you can create data queues in libraries
on your IBM® i server,
similar to the CRTDTAQ command in PDM.
To create a data queue:
Procedure
In the Remote Systems view, expand your connection, and then expand Objects > Library list.
Right-click the library in which you want to create the data queue,
and select New > Data Queue.
Enter the name of the data queue you want to create, or click Browse to
select a data queue from a specific library. If you choose to browse to an
existing data queue, you need to rename it after it appears in the Data
queue field.
(Optional) Alter the size of the data queue if necessary. The maximum
length is 64512.
(Optional) Add a description in the Text field.
(Optional) Click Next to define advanced
options for your data queue, such as authority, force to auxiliary storage,
sequence, queue size, and auto-reclaim.
Click Finish.
