The System z® LPEX
Editor provides content assistance commands you enter on the command
line. Content assistance is available for base LPEX commands, System z LPEX commands, and
ISPF primary commands when you are using the editor in ISPF mode.

z LPEX Editor line commands:
Procedure
- Place the cursor in the System
z LPEX Editor command line and press Ctrl+Spacebar. If you know part of the command name, you can type a partial
command and then press Ctrl+Spacebar. For example,
type c and then press Ctrl+Spacebar to
display all commands that begin with the letter c. The
editor displays a list of line commands to choose from.
- Press the Up and Down arrow
keys to highlight a command and then double-click the command to select
it. The command is added to the command line.
- Optional: If the command has parameters, add
the parameters to the command line. See the related topics
for more information about line commands.
- Press Enter to run the command. The command output displays.
