Using the COBOL Outline view

You can show or hide parts of a program in the outline view according to the program structure.

About this task

Sort elements by name toolbar button

Show file section toolbar button

Hide subordinate data items toolbar button

Show procedure division toolbar button

Shows a list of functions to perform on the Outline view data.
Expand outline
Select + Expand Outline to expand the selected program section.
Collapse outline

Filters
Select Filter to define a search argument to limit the program data items shown based on the name value specified as the search argument. You can use a wildcard to narrow or broaden the search scope.
