Specifies the coded character set identifier (CCSID) that records in files,
and data associated
with LOCALEs, and data associated with
XML GENERATE output, are converted to at run time. CCSID takes the form:
CCSID(a b c d)
where
a is the locale
single-byte data CCSID,
b is the non-locale single-byte
data CCSID, and
c is the non-locale double-byte data
CCSID,
d is the CCSID for XML GENERATE output data..
CCSID
a,
b,
c, or
d, is JOBRUN, JOB, HEX, or
"coded-character-set-identifier".
- JOBRUN indicates that the CCSID of the
program is resolved at runtime. When the compiled program is run, the current
job's default CCSID is used.
- JOB indicates that the current job's default CCSID
at compile time is used.
- HEX indicates that CCSID 65535 is used, which indicates
that data in the fields is treated as bit data, and is not converted.
- coded-character-set-identifier specifies
the CCSID to be used.
