for Power supplies
three build styles, Command, CL
Program, and None. If you have
Rational Team Concert for Power Systems Software client installed,
you can additionally select Build Specification.
See the Rational Team Concert for Power documentation for more details.
About this task
A build style supplies operations that build an application
from a project using the source files found in the associated library.
It also supplies the operations that push files from the project on
the workstation into the associated library on the server.
You
specify a build style when you create an i Project.
To modify the build style for an existing i Project:
Procedure
- Right-click your i Project and
select Properties.
- Select i Project
Build.
- Select Command or CL
Program from the list and click Configure.
- If you select Command, specify the
command that you will use to build this project.
- If you select CL Program, select the
project's source file that contains the members that will be uploaded
to build the project. Select Automatically generate COMPILE.CLLE
prior to each build to automatically generate the COMPILE.CLLE file
in the designated source file prior to submitting the build to the
server. Select Automatically push all changed members prior
to build to automatically create or update any changed
members that will be in the remote library prior to the project build.
Note: If you want to change the COMPILE.CLLE member
manually, clear the Automatically generate COMPILE.CLLE
prior to each build option so that the program does not
overwrite the changes.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
