A thread-specific breakpoint causes a program to stop only when that particular thread is executing. You can set line breakpoints for a specific thread or job-wide for all threads. You cannot set a thread-specific line breakpoint and a job-wide line breakpoint at the same statement. When you try to set, enable, or modify a breakpoint for which another breakpoint of the opposite type is already active, you will be prompted with a message indicating that the action cannot be performed.
If there is already a line breakpoint (thread or job) on the line, you cannot set another on it. An error message will display if you try to set the breakpoint in this case.
