An External-Field entry (positions 21-41 on an Input-Field specification) is renamed, but is not present in the external description for the record or is an ignored field. Or, if the External-Field entry is blank, the field specified in the Field-Name entry (positions 53-58) is not present in the external description for the record or is an ignored field. Fields which have external data types of graphic, date, time, timestamp or variable-length are ignored unless the appropriate compiler data conversion option is specified. Fields which have an external data type of float are always ignored.
Define the External-Field entry (positions 21-41) name or the Field-Name entry positions (53-58) name in the external description of the file. Or, use the appropriate compiler data conversion option to allow graphic, date, time, timestamp or variable-length fields. Or omit the specification. Compile again.
