An error subfile (ERRSFL keyword) is displayed on the row specified by the MSGLOC keyword. On a *DS3 display there are only 24 rows, so any MSGLOC value greater than 24 is not allowed. On a *DS4 display there are 28 rows, but row 28 can only be written to by the hardware (with a write to error line), so any MSGLOC value greater than 27 is not allowed.
