Troubleshooting Agent Controller

About this task

The following section lists some common problems you might encounter while using Agent Controller, and their solutions.

Problem: MCH3601 appears in your job log when you submit the RASERVER program.

Solution: Ensure that the Agent Controller server configuration file is created properly. See Deploying Agent Controller and IBM i Log and Trace Analyzer for information.

Problem: After you submit your Agent Controller server job, the job immediately ends.

Solution: This occurs if there are residual connections to others clients (apparent if your job log contains simple Severity 00 messages). You can enter NETSTAT *CNN to end the other Agent Controller connections, or restart the Agent Controller server one or more times to end any residual connections.
