The maximum length of a data description specifications (DDS) statement is 5000 characters. The fixed length entries (positions 1 through 44) are included in the length, therefore the maximum space available for keywords in the DDS statement is 4956 characters. A DDS statement ends when one of the following is specified: a record, a field specification, a key field specification, a select or omit specification, a join specification, a help specification, an option indicator, a condition name, or the end of the DDS source.
Response: Change the DDS statement to contain 5000 characters or less.
