Use this entry field to specify the authority given to users who are not
specifically authorized to the created object.
Either type an authorization-list name (up to 10 characters) to secure the
object (with a public authority of *AUTL), or click on the down arrow to
select one of the following valid choices:
- *CMDDFT
- The default currently set on your host system. Not necessarily the
installation defaults.
- *LIBCRTAUT
- The default public authority for created objects is taken from the CRTAUT
keyword which is associated with the target library. The value is
determined at create time. If the value of the CRTAUT keyword of the
library changes after the create, the new value will not affect any existing
objects.
- *ALL
- The public has complete authority over the program except for transfer of
object ownership.
- *CHANGE
- All operations are permitted to the public except those limited to the
owner or controlled by object authority and object management
authority. The user can change the object and perform basic functions
on it.
- *USE
- The public has the authority to read or run the compiled program, but not
debug or change it.
- *EXCLUDE
- The public has no authority over the program.
- authority-name
- Enter a user-defined Authority name (up to 10 SBCS characters).
