JFormattedComboBox has all the behaviors of a Swing JComboBox. It combines a JFormattedTextField and several JFormattedLabel beans. The editable part of the JFormattedComboBox is a JFormattedTextField, and the drop-down list consists of multiple cells of JFormattedLabel beans. Although the editable part is a JFormattedTextField, JFormattedComboBox does not support the edit mask feature.
On the IBM® i server, the VALUES feature limits the field to preset values. You can use JFormattedComboBox to implement the VALUES feature.
