Changing the editor source view

If your program was compiled with the appropriate debugging information, you can view it in the editor in the Source, Listing, or Statement view during a debugging session.

To set the editor to display the source code for your program, do one of the following:

Whether the Source view is available or not depends on the compiler options that you used to create debugging information.

Listing view

About this task

To have the editor display a compiler-generated listing of your program, right-click inside the editor and choose Switch View > *Show Listing from the pop-up menu. The Listing view will be displayed only in the Debugger editor.

Statement view

About this task

To see the statement number for each executable statement, as well as the name of the procedure to which the statement belongs, right-click inside the editor and choose Switch View > Show *Statement from the pop-up menu. The Statement view will be displayed only in the Debugger editor.
