With the debugger's client/server design, you can debug
programs running remotely on other systems in a network, using the local
resources of your workstation to present and control the debug session.
The debugger back-end, also known as a debug engine,
runs on the same system as the program you want to debug. This system
can be any AIX or Power Linux system accessible through a network.
Note: The debug engine shipped with this product identifies itself as a Version 12.1 engine.
