The Screen Designer Design page allows you to visually design records and screens. The Design page has a design area for arranging record and screen content. The design area has a set of tool buttons and controls for Font size and Grid.
Right-clicking anywhere in the design area shows a pop-up menu with the actions Properties, Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Print, and Align for aligning a set of fields.
The Design page also has a Design page screen controls area for configuring screens and specifying the records for each screen. To give you more space for designing your screens, the Design page screen controls area can be expanded or collapsed by clicking on its expansion control. The size of the area can also be changed by dragging the split bar at the bottom of the area.
Information about screens and which records belong to a screen is stored in XML at the end of the source. Therefore, even if you do not change the source but you create screens or assign records to screens, you need to save your source at the end of the edit session to save this information.
