This section explains how to launch a run or debug of your
application.
Before launching a run/debug you will want to disable the Build
before launching option in the Run/Debug Launching preference
page. Select Window > Preferences then expand Run/Debug and
select Launching, then disable Build before launching.
To launch a run/debug of your application:
- Find your executable in the Remote Reconciler or Remote Systems
view. To find in Remote Reconciler, enable Show the associated
remote resources in a pane, which adds a pane to the bottom of
the Remote Reconciler view. Find the executable application in there.
- Right-click on the executable, select Run/Debug > Compiled
Application on AIX®.... This
will bring up the Run/Debug Configurations dialog.
- Ensure that Program is filled in and correct.
- Ensure that Project is filled in and correct for debugging,
as this is used for loading the source.
- To pass arguments click Arguments tab, and provide them
there. To set environment variables, click Environment tab.
- Click the Run/Debug button to launch.
