You can configure the product and your server to automatically
distribute database connections, preferences,
remote systems artifacts, software analyzer configurations, snippets,
and software analyzer custom rules and categories when client workstations connect to a remote
system. This feature is called push-to-client. By using push-to-client,
you can store workspace configurations in a central location and push
them to client workstations so that your developers have a consistent
workspace environment. Push-to-client can be used to administer consistent
work environments or to simply share or backup configurations.
