CARMA filters represent a selected set of CARMA content or Repository Instances. The filter is defined by a filter string, for example “A*”. The filter string is passed to the RAM, which passes back a group of content. The content is determined by the RAM, but it is suggested that the filter contents name match the filter string. For example, for the filter string “A*” it is suggested that the contents passed back from the RAM all start with “A”.
There is a connection between the filter specified in the UI and the filter received by the RAM functions. For additional information, refer to the Common Access Repository Manager Developer’s Guide (SC23-7660-00).
