Palette view

The Palette view provides Design page selection tools and BMS Map Editor map set components.
The Palette view includes the following items:

Click the specific drawer label to show or hide the item list.

Customizing the Palette view

Right-click the palette and select Customize to add or change drawers or map components.
The following drawer and map component display options can be customized.
Name
Name displayed in the palette.
Description
Text that is displayed when you move the mouse pointer over the palette item.
Hide
Item is not displayed in the palette.
The following drawer options are available.
Open drawer at start-up
The drawer is expanded when the Palette view is shown. Hide Do not display the drawer. Open drawer at start-up At start-up, display the drawer's items. Pin drawer open at start-up Keep the drawer open.
Pin drawer open at start-up
The drawer remains pinned open unless you click on the drawer to close it.

You can hide any of the drawers or add new drawers. However, you cannot delete the four initial drawers.

You can change the default display properties for the palette entries from the Preferences dialog.
