the assembler with job control statements, invoking the assembler on

describes linking, creating load modules, input and output for the
linkage editor and binder, detecting linking errors, and running your
program on z/OS.
- z/OS system services and programming considerations describes the z/OS system services that you can
use to maintain macro definitions in a macro library, and the cataloged
