Creating UML sequence diagrams

You can create new Unified Modeling Language (UML) sequence diagrams and then add existing or new Java™ elements to sequence diagrams to understand and develop interactions in Java or Enterprise JavaBeans™ (EJB) applications.

You must be in the Java or J2EE perspective.
To create a UML sequence diagram:
  1. Click File > New > Other.
  2. In the New wizard, expand Modeling, click Sequence Diagram, and click Next.
  3. Specify a parent folder and type a file name for the new sequence diagram.
  4. Click Finish.
