Class diagrams

A Unified Modeling Language (UML) class diagram provides a graphical representation of the structures and relationships of elements in an application.

For example, a UML class diagram can depict some or all of the components or elements in an application. You can use class diagrams to create your own context to understand, collaborate, and design using a subset of the components or elements in an application.

Class diagrams use multiple variations of association relationships to indicate which classifiers need to share data with other classifiers.
