You can change the default stereotype style that appears
for shapes when you add shapes to Unified Modeling Language (UML)
diagrams or create new ones.
Note: This default setting affects
only new shapes that you add to a diagram and does not affect any
existing shapes.
To change the default stereotype style for shapes:
- Click
- In the Preferences window, expand Modeling,
expand Appearance, and click Shapes.
- On the Shapes page, from the Stereotype
style list, complete one of the following steps:
- To display shape stereotypes with decoration icons
and text in double angle brackets (<< >>),
select Decoration and Text.
- To displays shape stereotypes with decoration icons, select Decoration.
- To displays shape stereotypes with shape image-based icons,
select Shape Image.
- To displays shape stereotypes with text in double angle
brackets (<< >>), select Text.
- Not to display any shape stereotypes, select None.
- Click OK.
