Customizing the EJB visual development tool

You can set the default to add new enterprise beans to existing or new class diagrams when you create them by using the Create an Enterprise Bean wizard.

You can also customize the settings for visibility styles and icons, and showing attribute and operation compartments and parent names.

Showing the parent name displays the fully qualified package name in which an enterprise bean or bean class is owned. It is useful to show parent names, for example, when you need to know the containing projects of enterprise beans or you have a class diagram that displays enterprise beans that belong to different packages.
