Creating and populating UML class diagrams with enterprise beans

You can create Unified Modeling Language (UML) class diagrams and populate them with enterprise beans and their relationships to visually represent Enterprise JavaBeans™ (EJB) applications.

You can create new class diagrams or populate existing ones to visually represent the structures and relationships of enterprise beans and their classes. You can filter enterprise beans and their relationships in class diagrams. You can also show operation signatures and the parent names of enterprise beans and bean classes.

Showing the parent name displays the fully qualified package name in which an enterprise bean or bean class is owned. It is useful to show parent names, for example, when you need to know the containing projects of enterprise beans or you have a class diagram that displays enterprise beans that belong to different packages.
