Changing the default stereotype style for compartments

You can change the default stereotype style that appears for compartments when you create new Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams or add shapes to existing ones.

Note: This setting affects only new shapes that you add to a diagram and does not affect existing shapes.
To change the default stereotype style for compartments:
  1. Click Window > Preferences.
  2. In the Preferences window, expand Modeling, expand Appearance, and click Shapes.
  3. On the Shapes page, from the Compartment stereotype style list, complete one of the following steps:
    • To displays compartment stereotypes with decoration icons, select Decoration.
    • To displays compartment stereotypes with text in double angle brackets (<<  >>), select Text.
    • Not to display any compartment stereotype, select None.
  4. Click OK.
