Creating topic diagrams of data objects

You can use topic diagrams to create dynamic views of relationships between data objects.

To create a topic diagram of a data object:
  1. In the Data Definition view, right-click a database object; then click Visualize > Add to New Diagram File > Topic Diagram.
  2. In the Topic Wizard, on the Topic Diagram Location page, specify a parent folder, type a name, and click Next.
  3. On the Topic page, click Related Visualizer Elements and click Finish.
  4. Click Finish.
Note: You can also create topic diagrams of data objects from the diagram editor by right-clicking a data object; then clicking Visualize > In Topic Diagram.
