Snapshot and Web views use the file system on the host on which the snapshot view directory is located to read and write files. On Windows®, these file systems perform file lookup that is not case sensitive and that generally preserves case when creating file names. On Linux® and the UNIX® system, file lookups are always case sensitive, and file-name creation is always case preserving.
