The license database includes license keys and optional license
management information.
On Windows® hosts, the license database is stored in
the Windows Registry
and must only be modified by using the Licensing page
of the ClearCase® program
in Control Panel.
On Linux® or UNIX® system
hosts, the license database is a text file, /var/adm/rational/clearcase/license.db,
which you can modify with any text editor.
Note: All lines in the file license.db must
be terminated with a newline character.
