If a license database contains more than one set of licenses
(that is, more than one license line), you can move some sets and
not move others.
Note: This procedure is not required if you are changing
the name of a license server host. It is required only if the license
host ID (as reported by clearlicense –hostid)
changes for any reason. Common reasons for such a change include moving
the license server host function to a new computer or replacing the
network interface hardware of an existing license server host.
To
move licenses to another host:
- Complete the Request to MOVE Rational® ClearCase® Product
Family Licenses form. Fax the form to IBM. IBM will
send you the replacement license keys.
- Move the licenses. If you are moving licenses
to a host that is already a license server host, follow the procedure
in Adding licenses to a license server host.
