As noted in Case-sensitivity, different platforms have different rules for treatment of character case in file-name lookups. Typically, you can use a command-line option to disable case conversion for a particular NFS mount. However, remote storage directories are mounted automatically by Rational® ClearCase®. For correct behavior on these mounts, configure NFS to disable case conversion for all mounts.
