login [ -username login-name ] [ -pas/sword password ]
[ -ser/ver server-url:port ]

Description

The login command enables interactive-mode access to the ClearCase Remote Client. In noninteractive mode, you must provide credentials with each command that you issue; for example: rcleartool mkview -username user -pass password -server server-url ...

Options and arguments

username login-name: ClearCase Remote Client user name.

-pas/sword pwd: Password.

-ser/ver server-url:port: The server URL and port.
