Rational® ClearCase MultiSite® users can experience shipping server time-outs if the network card of the shipping server host is configured with the Link Speed & Duplex field as Auto Detect. This is the default setting on many Windows operating systems. Users can avoid this problem by setting this field to use maximum speed and the correct communications mode (full duplex or half duplex) for shipping servers.
