Creating a VOB on Rational ClearCase LT

Try it!

1. Start the VOB Creation Wizard from the Start menu.
2. On the Name and Major Parameters page, you specify the name of the VOB, or VOB tag.

   Complete the Name and Major Parameters page as follows:

   • VOB name: your-username_cclt_tutorial. For example, rvk_cclt_tutorial.
   • Comment: tutorial exercise VOB
   • Click Next.
3. On the Components page, you identify components that pertain to UCM projects. You also specify if the VOB can contain more than one component. Complete the page as follows:
   • Accept the default value: Allow this VOB to contain multiple components.
   • Click Finish.
4. On the Confirmation page, click OK.

   Rational® ClearCase® LT creates the VOB and mounts it automatically.

5. Click Close.
