Creating a tutorial folder on Windows

  1. Click My Computer and then click Local Disk.
  2. Click File > New Folder, and type cc-tut as folder name.
  3. Right-click cc-tut and continue as follows:

    Windows NT.

    1. Click Properties, click the Security tab, and then click Permissions.
    2. Select the following options: Everyone, Replace Permissons in Subdirectories, and Replace Permissions in Existing Files.
    3. Click OK, and then click Yes in the warning box.
    4. Click OK to close the dialog box.

      Other Windows platforms.

    5. Select Sharing.
    6. Click Share this folder.
    7. As a comment, type: ClearCase tutorial exercise folder, and click OK.
