If you use a Windows system and you want team members who also use Windows systems to be able to access your snapshot view on their computers, you must enable file sharing on the snapshot view root directory. If the root directory of the snapshot view is shareable, you can use Rational® ClearCase® Explorer or Windows® Explorer to register the snapshot view.
On a Windows system, you cannot register a snapshot view that was created from a UNIX® host.
