In
the
Rational® ClearQuest® client
on Windows® systems,
you can have reports and charts:
- Reports compile information from a Rational ClearQuest user
database and generate the information in human-readable format. Associated
with a report is a query and a report format. Typically, a project manager
creates a report format and saves it in the Rational ClearQuest user
database for use with queries. To use a report, you select a report format
and a query to plug in to the report format. Accessed under Workspace in the Rational ClearQuest client,
reports can be run at any time.
- Charts are the means to graphically view and analyze data
from a Rational ClearQuest user
database. Typically, a project manager uses the chart wizard to define one
of the following types of charts: distribution, trend, or aging. You can filter
a chart with the Query editor. You can display a chart in either pie, bar,
stacked bar, area, or line format. You cannot edit query records returned
while you are creating a chart.
