If your organization uses Rational® ClearCase MultiSite®®, do not use UCM serial workflow with teams that are spread across multiple sites and working against multiple replicas. Single-stream projects are not designed for use with teams that are not collocated and working against the same replica. Changing mastership on a single stream restricts people at one site from doing any work while mastership is at another site. Setting up single-stream projects is optimum if the work done in those projects is confined to a single site.
