What happens when you complete a deliver operation

When you issue the complete command for a deliver operation, the following actions occur:

1. The merge results in the target stream are checked in.
2. If your project is enabled for Rational® ClearQuest® and your project manager has enabled a policy, other actions occur.
   • If the Perform ClearQuest Action After Delivery policy is enabled, a Rational ClearQuest user database script runs. If the script returns an error, the deliver operation stops. You must correct the error before the deliver operation can continue.
   • If the Transition to Complete After Delivery policy is enabled, the delivered activities in the Rational ClearQuest user database move to a Complete-type state.
3. The state of the operation is changed to Complete.
