To add activities from the View Properties window (not Rational ClearQuest enabled) (Windows)

In a project that is not enabled for Rational® ClearQuest®, you can use the View Properties window to add an activity.

Open a view properties window. For example, in Rational ClearCase® Explorer, right-click the root directory of the view, and click Properties of View.
On the General page of the Properties window, click Change.
In the Select Activity window, click New.
In the New Activity window, enter an activity headline and click OK.
In the Select Activity window, click OK. The activity headline is displayed in the Properties window under Current default activity for this view.
In the Properties window, click OK.
