To set the default mastership assignment in the User Options window (Windows)

To set the default for mastership assignment in the User Options window:

  1. Perform one of the following actions:
    • From Rational® ClearCase® Explorer, click Tools > Options and, in the Options window, click ClearCase Options.
    • Click Start > Programs > IBM Rational > IBM Rational ClearCase > User Preferences.
  2. In the ClearCase User Options window, click Operations.
  3. In the Check In/Add to Source Control area, click Advanced Options.
  4. Select When creating an element in a replicated VOB, make current replica the master of all newly created branches.
  5. Click OK to close the windows.
