To assign the shared directory to a drive (Windows)
If the snapshot view root directory is shareable,
you can assign it to a drive.
Tip: If you prefer to use the
command line, you can use the net use command instead of
the following procedure.
To assign the shared directory to a drive:
From Windows Explorer, click Tools > Map Network Drive.
In the Map Network Drive window, select a letter from the Drive drop-own
list.
In the Folder field, enter the path to the
shared folder of the snapshot view root directory or click Browse and navigate
to the root directory of the snapshot view in My Network Places or Network
Neighborhood.
