To compare a hijacked file with the version in the VOB

  1. To access the Update View window of the Update Tool, you must perform one of the following actions:
    • Find hijacked or modified files.
    • Update a snapshot view.
  2. In the right pane of the View Update window, complete either of the following actions, depending on the system you are using:
    • On a UNIX system or Linux, click a hijacked file. Then click Tools > Compare with old.
    • On a Windows system, right-click a hijacked file. Then click Compare with Original Version.
