To find hijacked or modified files

  1. Perform either of the following actions:
    • Enter the following command:
      cleartool update -graphical snapshot-view-path
      In the Start Update window, click Preview only. Then click OK.
    • On Windows systems only, do the following:
      1. In Rational® ClearCase® Explorer, right-click the root directory of the snapshot view.
      2. On the pop-up menu, click Find Modified Files.
      3. Select Display results when closed and quit the Modified File Search Complete window.
  2. If any hijacked files are in your view, the Snapshot View Update window displays a folder in the left pane titled Hijacked. Select No for the option asking whether you want to check out the hijacked files now.
