You can perform this operation from a command shell
or the File Browser (on the UNIX system and Linux) or you can perform this
operation from Rational® ClearCase® Explorer
or Windows Explorer (on Windows systems).
- On the UNIX system or Linux, find a view storage directory from a command
shell or from the File Browser:
- Type the following command:
cleartool lsview -properties -long view-tag
The Global path line displays
the path for the view storage directory.
- In the File Browser running in the view of interest, click .
In
the Describe View window, the global path field displays the path for the
view storage directory.
- On Windows systems, find a view storage directory from the Rational ClearCase Explorer
or from Windows Explorer:
- From the Rational ClearCase Explorer,
perform the following actions:
- In the Shortcut pane, click Views and the page
containing the view.
- Click the shortcut to the view. Then right-click the view in the Folder
pane and click Properties of View.
- In the Properties window, click Advanced.
The
Host Path window displays the path for the view storage directory.
- From Windows Explorer, perform the following actions:
- Right-click the view root directory and click .
- In the Properties window, click Advanced.
The
Host Path pane displays the path for the view storage directory.
