To unset an activity

You can change any view to have no currently set activity, for example, to remove the view or to remove the activity currently set in the view.

To unset an activity from the command line, enter the following command from your development view:
cleartool setactivity -none
You can unset an activity from Rational® ClearCase® Explorer in two different ways. Do either of the following:
  • To unset an activity from Rational ClearCase Explorer using MyActivities:
    1. Open your work area and click MyActivities.
    2. In the Details pane, clear the check box next to the currently set activity.
  • To unset an activity from Rational ClearCase Explorer using the view properties window:
    1. Open your work area.
    2. In the Folder pane, right-click the icon for your view.
    3. On the pop-up menu, select Properties of View.
    4. Click Change.
    5. In the Select Activity window, select No Activity.
    6. Click OK.
