To find a symlink target from Rational ClearCase Explorer

To find the target of a symbolic link (the file or directory to which the symlink points), you can use Rational® ClearCase® Explorer.
  1. In the Rational ClearCase Explorer Details pane, right-click the symbolic link and click Symlinks.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To change context to the VOB in which the target resides, click Warp to Symlink Target.

      Return to a previously visited location by clicking File and selecting a VOB location.

    • To work on the target without changing your current context, click Symlink Target Operations and select a Rational ClearCase command.
