To make a component modifiable by the project
Depending on the platform you are using, choose one of the following methods to make a component modifiable by the project.
Tip:
You cannot change the read/write status of a component after it has been made modifiable.
If you are using a Windows system, complete the following steps:
On the Policy page of the integration stream property sheet, click
Components
.
In the Component pane, select a component.
Select the check box.
If you are using the UNIX system or Linux, complete the following steps:
On the Configuration page, click
Change
.
Select a component from the
Component
list.
Select
Allow project to modify component
.
