Rational® ClearCase® Explorer is a developer's tool that supplies a coherent, adaptable, and customizable interface to your software environment. The Rational ClearCase Explorer interface is similar to that of Windows Explorer and provides multiple panes with access to Rational ClearCase objects, information, and tools.

Rational ClearCase Explorer does the following:

• Supports standard Windows Explorer functions (for example, cut, paste, new, delete, and drag commands).
• Offers shortcuts to Rational ClearCase tools, to Rational ClearCase Explorer online documentation, to Rational ClearCase views, and to URLs.
• Provides flexible navigation mechanisms, enabling ready access toRational ClearCase element and file system information.
