Controlling the ToolTips display

  1. Click Tools > Customize. The Customize window opens.
  2. Click Toolbars.
  3. Do either of the following:
    • Set Show Tooltips to have a brief description of a tool shortcut display in the status bar when the pointer hovers over the icon.
    • Clear this option to disable the ToolTip (hover help) descriptions.
