To start the Merge Manager from Rational ClearCase Explorer
(Windows)
Do either of the following.
In the Folder pane, right-click a folder for a base Rational® ClearCase® view
(one that is not associated with a UCM project) and click Merge
Manager. The Find Wizard window opens. Do either of the following:
If you work in a UCM project, start a merge
in the context of a deliver or rebase operation.
From the Find Wizard, follow the prompts to start a new merge session.
Click Help for information on the Find Wizard window.
When the Find Wizard completes, all the files and directories eligible for
merging are displayed in the Merge Manager window.
Close the Find Wizard and the Merge Manager window opens. Then click File > Open to retrieve
a saved session.
In the Shortcut pane, click Toolbox. Then
click Base ClearCase > Merge Manager. The Merge Manager window and the Welcome
window open. Click Help in the Welcome window for more
information on how to proceed.
