To start the Update Tool from Windows Explorer

You can start the Update Tool from Rational® ClearCase® Explorer or Windows Explorer.
  1. From Rational ClearCase Explorer or from Windows Explorer, right-click the root directory of the snapshot view.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • In Rational ClearCase Explorer, click Update View.
    • In Windows Explorer, click ClearCase > Update View.

The Start Update window opens. For more information, click Help.
