To change the reserved or unreserved state of a checkout

  1. In the Version Tree Browser window, display the version tree of the element.
  2. Select a checked-out version in the version tree display.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Tools > Reserve to change the state of the checkout to reserved (see About reserved checkouts).
    • Click Tools > Unreserve to change the state of the checkout to unreserved.
    Tip: If there are no conflicts with other users' checkouts, the change occurs automatically (no confirmation window).
