To locate the version you selected by using the mouse

  1. In the Version Tree Browser window, click Tools > Locate.
  2. In the Locate Version and Branch window, select Locate the version selected by the mouse pointer (if applicable).
  3. Click Locate.

    A flashlight opens in the version tree next to the result of your query to indicate the version selected by the mouse.
  4. Click anywhere in the version tree to remove the flashlight.
Tip: If the Locate Version and Branch window obscures the version tree display, move or close it to see the highlighted version.
Tip: If no version or branch is currently selected in the version tree display (that is, if you did not click a version or branch in the display before opening the Locate Version and Branch window), clicking Locate the version selected by the mouse pointer has no effect on the display.
