To show or hide hover help

In the Version Tree Browser, if you move the pointer over a version in the display, hover help that summarizes the metadata pertaining to that version is displayed as a pop-up window. (Moving the pointer away from the version closes this window.) To control the hover help display for version and branch objects:

Click Tools > Options.
In the Options window, click Metadata Filter and do one of the following:
- Set Show tooltips for version tree objects to display the hover help.
- Clear the option to hide hover help.
Click OK.

Tip: The hover help always shows all metadata associated with a version tree object. That is, using the check boxes in the Filter Type section to limit the metadata that appears for versions in the display has no effect on the metadata that is displayed in the hover help.
