Specify the UNIX region of interest

You can specify the UNIX region using one of two methods:

Method 1
1. If the Synchronize ClearCase® Regions window displays the wrong UNIX region name, click Change next to the UNIX region name.
2. Complete the UNIX Region Name window.
Note: If the UNIX Region Name window opens when you start the Region Synchronizer, supply the UNIX region name and skip Step 2. The UNIX Region Name window opens immediately if both of these conditions exist:
- You did not specify a peer UNIX region for this host when you installed Rational® ClearCase.
- You did not save region configuration information during previous Region Synchronizer invocations.
Method 2
1. Start the Rational ClearCase program in Control Panel.
2. On the Registry page, specify a different Peer UNIX Region.
