With the View Creation wizard, you can create a work area for contributing to a development project. Called a view, this work area allows you to access files and directories under Rational® ClearCase® control. The wizard allows you to create either a snapshot view or a dynamic view.
If the development project uses Rational ClearCase UCM, you can choose a project to associate with the view that you create. If you join a multiple-stream project, you also create a development stream to configure the development view for the project.
