To attach a hyperlink to a version of another element with text annotations

In the Version Tree Browser window, select the version of the object (the from-object).
Click Hyperlink > Connect to Version (+text).
In the "Select hyperlink type to create" window, in the Name pane, click the entry of the hyperlink type and click OK.
In the "Select to file" window, in the Name pane, navigate to and click the entry for the element that is to have the to-object. Click OK.
In the "Select to version" window, in the version tree display area, navigate to and click the version of the file that is to have the to-object. Click Options and a command to control the versions displayed.
Click OK.
In the "Hyperlink from text" window, in the Hyperlink from text field, enter the text annotation for the from-object (the HlinkFromText attribute) and click OK.
In the "Hyperlink to text" window, in the Hyperlink to text field, enter the text annotation for the to-object (the HlinkToText attribute) and click OK to create the hyperlink.
If the to-object is in another VOB, either the hyperlink type must be defined in that VOB or there must be a global type definition.
Click Report > Describe on the selected version and click Hyperlink to verify the attachment.
