In the Version Tree Browser window, select the branch
object.
Click Branch > Show lock to determine whether a branch
is locked or obsolete. (The commands are unavailable until you
select the branch object.)
A window indicates
whether the branch is locked, unlocked, or obsolete.
If the branch is unlocked or obsolete, select the
branch object. (The commands are unavailable until you select the object you
want to lock.)
Click Branch and one of the
following commands:
Lock to lock a branch for all users. The branch
is now locked.
Lock (except some users) to lock a branch for
all users except specified ones. In the Select users window, click the name
of the user who can continue to access the branch. Press Ctrl and click each
additional user name. Then click OK. The branch is
now locked for all users except those whom you specified.
