To obsolete a branch

  1. In the Version Tree Browser window, select the branch object.
  2. Click Branch > Show lock to determine whether a branch is locked or obsolete. (The commands are unavailable until you select the branch object.)

    A window indicates whether the branch is locked, unlocked, or obsolete.

  3. If the branch is locked or unlocked, select the branch object.
  4. Click Branch > Obsolete. (The commands are unavailable until you select the object you want to obsolete.)

The branch is now obsolete.
