Report

The Report command on the menu contains the following commands to generate reports for the selected object. See also Report options.

Command

Description

Describe

Lists information about the selected versions.

List history > Element

Runs the History Browser and displays event records for the selected object (see Report options).

List history > Branch

Runs the History Browser and displays event records filtered for the current branch (see Report options).

Annotated report > Selected version

Creates a report indicating when each line of the selected version was inserted. The element type must support the annotate operation.

Annotated report > Include removed lines

Creates a report to include deletion annotations.

Annotated report > Include all versions

Creates a report that indicates when each line of the selected version was inserted or deleted and includes lines on branches that are unrelated to the currently selected version.

Annotated report > Ancestor report

Creates a listing of all the event records of all the versions in the line of descent of the selected version, in cleartool lshistory format. This is what appears in the heading section of the cleartool subcommand annotate command output.

Find query > Versions with attribute

Finds all versions with a specified attribute type. The software writes in the List attributes box the versions found with the specified attribute.

Find query > Versions with attribute value

Finds all versions with a specified attribute type and value. The software writes in the List attributes field the versions found with the specified value.

Find query > Versions with attribute relation

Finds all versions with a given logical relationship to a specified attribute value (for example, less than or greater than). The software writes in the List attributes field the versions found with the specified attribute value having the relation that you specified.

Report options

The following are the Report options.

Major

Lists events considered major for the selected elements (for example, checkin, checkout, or chmaster)

Minor

Lists all events including major and less important events (for example, mklabel and mktrigger)

By me

Lists major events filtered by the login name of the current user.

By user

Lists major events filtered by login name. In the Select user window, navigate to and click the login name.

Today

Lists major events since 00:00:00 of the current day.

Since

Lists major events filtered by date and time that you enter in the Enter date/time window.
