You use the Associate Change Requests window to associate a Rational® ClearCase® version with one or more Rational ClearQuest® change requests. You can also use this window to remove existing associations with change requests. The window opens when you check out or check in a version of an element in a VOB that has been configured to permit or require versions to be associated with change requests.
The first time that you attempt to check out or check in a version of an element in a VOB that is enabled for the base ClearCase integration with Rational ClearQuest, the integration prompts them to log in to a Rational ClearQuest user database. Specify a Rational ClearQuest user ID, password, and database name.
After you log in to the Rational ClearQuest user database, you can use the integration to complete your checkout and checkin operations. The integration stores the login information for later use.
