Setting up the Rational ClearCase integration with JBuilder

Before you can access Rational® ClearCase® commands from the JBuilder interface for the first time, you must set up the integration.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On workstations that run Linux or the UNIX system, at a command prompt in the ccase-home-dir/install directory, type ./ccjbinstall.
    • On Windows computers, click Start > Programs > IBM Rational > IBM Rational ClearCase > Administration > Integrations > JBuilder Integration Configuration.

      If the JBuilder Integration Configuration option is not available from the Start menu, navigate to ccase-home-dir\bin and run ccjbinstall.exe.

  2. If the configuration tool runs successfully, a ClearCase menu appears on the main JBuilder menu bar when you next start the application. If you cannot run the configuration tool, troubleshoot the integration.
