History of a file

The History Browser displays the history of changes to any element in Rational® ClearCase® source control. You can search for any elements that are in a VOB to display their history.

  1. Open the file in an Office application.
  2. Click ClearCase > History.

    You can also specify the folder or file you want in the History Browser. The history includes information such as the creation of elements and new versions.

For more information about viewing the history of an element, click Help in the History Browser window.
