Rational® ClearCase® is a configuration management system that helps you manage and track changes to your files. When you use Rational ClearCase with PowerBuilder, many people can work on a set of files, or even the same file, at the same time. The updates are managed in Rational ClearCase so that no changes are lost. Yet it allows you to have exclusive update privileges when you want only one person to have update access.
The changes that you made to your files are tracked in Rational ClearCase, and you can review a history of these changes.
